San Paolo Naufrago founded under Mr Vince Carabott ( Censu ta kafe ) 1938 as  wine a spirits . It was a local bar selling coffee &  tea for all residents in Valletta during the morning and as a bar during the night for British soldiers during there stay in Malta . This  bar is famous also for the feast of St Pauls  and Gd Friday Bearers . In 1960 My father Anthony Carabott took over at the age of 14 years  from his father and worked for straight 40 years with his brothers & sisters  Mario , Ray, Paul ,Louis, Joe ,Frans ,Lawrence,melina,doris & anna during all this years till 1990 .San Paolo Naufrago was famous for gd coffe ,Tea and the small rolls with tuna & giardiniera recipe which is  home made  & aswell ham & cheese roll which is still famous now a day . In 1990 my father young brother Lawrence took over till 2005 and kept the bar open as a coffee shop and bar .

In November 2005 my brother and I  Took over San Paolo Naufrago as 3rd generation Paul & Keith for all these years till today 2020  we changed the bar as coffee shop and food in the morning and also as wine a pizza during the evening .

San Paolo Naufrago is the only bar under one family which has never stopped operating  from generation to generation all these years.

We  are open from Tuesday till Saturday  from 10 am till late , Sunday ,Monday and public holidays we are closed.
